It also presents a platform for SADC member states, the private sector, international partners, policymakers, researchers, small and medium enterprises, financial institutions and civil society to share experiences on driving industrialisation and economic transformation in the region.
“The Republic of Zimbabwe through the Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries (CZI) and SADC business council, with the SADC secretariat, will host the 7th annual SADC industrialization week in Harare, Zimbabwe,” read part of the statement.
The event will be held shortly before the 44th SADC summit of Heads of State and Government scheduled for 17 August where Zimbabwe is set to assume the chairmanship of the regional body.
