TEN men from Karoi were arrested after fatally assaulting a fuel dealer in the town.

The fuel dealer, George Taruvinga (49), was well-known as he used to buy fuel from international trucks at a 185km peg along Harare Chirundu highway.

Police heard that on May 4 around 5pm, Taruvinga left home for his usual spot to buy fuel from truckers. He never returned home that night.

The following morning around 5am, five men and two youths in a gold Toyota Fun Cargo came with Taruvinga to his house and asked for clean clothes for him to change from his wife.

She asked them what had happened to him and they told her he was found stealing diesel at Lakeview low-density suburb.
