Gweru (The Times-New Ziana) -Gweru based land developers, Sheasham could become the third Premier Soccer League side in the city if they win their last ZIFA Central Region Soccer League away game to Dulibadzimu this weekend.

Under the tutelage of head coach John Nyikadzino, Sheasham made a bold statement on Saturday when they whitewashed Division 2 bound ZRP Gweru 5-0 to maintain a two point lead over second placed Whawha FC.

With 72 points, Sheasham now need an outright victory against Dulibadzimu to be crowned the league champions and join Chapungu FC and TelOne FC in the top flight league.

Whawha have a tough away match against former Premier Soccer League side Shabanie Mine FC in Zvishavane.

On Saturday, Whawha edged Blanket Mine 1-0 to keep their hopes of another dance in the PSL alive.

Third placed ZPC Munyati beat Dendairy 1-0 in a Kwekwe derby.
