    UK diaspora prepares to welcome Zimbabwe netball team

    Zimbabwean diaspora organisations and companies in the UK have come together in a show of support for the Zimbabwe National Netball Team, who are set to participate in the Netball World Cup in Liverpool, and are expected to land in the UK on the 5thof July, and on the 6thJuly 2019 there will be organising a welcome ceremony at the Liverpool Marriot Hotel and various packages for the team’s welfare at the global showpiece.

    The welcome ceremony is being organised by the Zimbabwe Achievers Awards Foundation (ZAAF) in partnership with organisations and companies such as Diaspora Funeral Cash Plan, ZIWA, Nurseline, ExpressLink International, Indlovukazi, ZimThrive, and Chiltern Support. ZAA Foundation Chairperson Beatrice Khumalo confirmed the developments and breaking down of the tasks by the companies involved. “We are ready to welcome our girls and the entire delegation and are proud to announce that our sponsors are ready to give the team a fitting welcome where they will be officially welcomed by Ambassador Christian Katsande at the ceremony,” she said.

    “The diaspora team has set up different tasks which will see Diaspora Funeral Cash Plan welcoming the team from the airport and organising logistics to the ceremony on Saturday 6th July 2019.
