Dates for the 65th edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) have been set for April 22 to 26 next year, a Cabinet Minister has said.

Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister Dr Jenfan Muswere said this on Tuesday while briefing the media after the Cabinet meeting.

The ZITF Company organises and manages exhibitions and events to promote trade and investment through innovation and value addition for the benefit of its stakeholders.

Dr Muswere said following a presentation by Industry and Commerce Minister Nqobizitha Ndhlovu, Cabinet approved the proposed themes for the 65th premier exhibition to be held at the Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre in the country’s second largest city Bulawayo.

“The nation is informed that the 2025 Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) will be held from 22nd to 26th April 2025.

The exhibition will spotlight strategies essential to accelerate economic development and will catalyse the embracing of trade opportunities as provided for by the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA),” he said. “The 2025 ZITF will be private sector led and the investment and export development programmes will play a central role.

“Given the national vision of developing the economy to ensure the achievement of an Upper Middle-Income Economy by 2030, Cabinet approved

“Industrialisation: Crafting an Integrated Economic Landscape” as the theme for the event.

The theme emphasises the importance of establishing a strong and competitive industrial base in Zimbabwe to drive economic growth, create jobs, and enhance the country’s global competitiveness.”
