Former Mines Perm Sec Gudyanga jailed

Harare (New Ziana)- Former permanent secretary in the Ministry of Mines and Mining Development, Francis Gudyanga was on Friday sentenced to four years in jail for corruptly claiming board sitting allowances from the Minerals Marketing Corporation of Zimbabwe (MMCZ)in 2013.

It was established that the board was dissolved at the time.

Harare magistrate Barbra Chimbodza reduced the sentence to two and half years if Gudyanga paid back back US$25 225 to the MMCZ by the end of April.
