Chinhoyi woman, daughter stabbed by boyfriend

Chinhoyi (New Ziana) – A Chinhoyi woman was allegedly stabbed to death by her boyfriend, and her daughter is nursing injuries from similar stabbing, after the former was reportedly found with another man.

Police said Petronella Ncube (38), was stabbed with knife on the leg by a boyfriend identified only as Tafadzwa, and died from the injuries.

Her daughter, who was not identified, was also allegedly stabbed on the leg by the mother’s boyfriend after she tried to stop the two from fighting.

“The ZRP is investigating a case of murder which occurred on 20/06/22 at Staff Quarters, Chikonohono in Chinhoyi. The victim, Petronella Ncube (38) died after she was stabbed on the leg with a flick knife by her boyfriend, only identified as Tafadzwa,” police said.

Ncube, police said, was allegedly found by Tafadzwa with another man in her bedroom.
