THE Ruvimbo Central Region Division One soccer league enters its third week with two
Matabeleland South sides Blanket Mine FC and Dulibadzimu United at home while Amazon
FC, Bishopstone FC and CM 15 FC are away.
Blanket The Gold Diggers Mine FC host Clement Mabhurezas CM 15 FC, who were
thrashed at home by soldiers, Tongogara, last weekend.
CM15 want to shake off the 1- 4 embarrassing defeat to the soldiers at home a day after the
director of the team Mabhureza scored a beauty in a social match between Musicians and
Beitbridge Legends. The latter won by the solitary strike.
But in active soccer CM 15 were found wanting.
Dulibadzimu FC host FC Platinum Under-19, Norman Mapezas development side, who are
not a pushover. The game is a must – win for the Beitbridge border side, which has only two
points after drawing at home and away to Amazon in Sun Yet Sen.
Dulibadzimu boys were the first to open the road of Division One encounters in that part of
the country near Botswana.
Bishopstone FC travel to ZPC Munyati, while MSU are home to Loss Control, another
Mimosa Mine club.
Early Log leaders TelOne FC, whose case against promoted Shesham is yet to be heard by
ZIFA months after the soccer body collected fees for the trial, locks horns with Chapungu in
a hot Midlands derby home to the airmen.
The game promises fireworks.
Tongogara are at home to Shabanie, while Kwekwe United travel to Sun Yet Sun, enjoying
two games at home in a row.
