Lady Du rocks Gwanda

SOUTH AFRICA’s sensational artist, Lady Du, thrilled Gwandas Phoenix Tshisanyama
Garden, last week during a sold-out concert that left fans craving for more.
The well organised show saw Bulawayos renowned dancer, Mtkay Ntwana, warming the
stage with the latest dance moves.
It was the first time that Lady Du performed in the mining town. At 1:45am the multi-award
winning artist sent the fans wild with her trademark Wa-Wa!
The Umsebenzi Wethu hit-maker was spectacular during her splendid performance, delivering
her songs like Woza, uZuma yistar, Umlando live on stage. She also gave samples of her
album, which she said is underway.
While King 98 a Zimbabwean piano artist closed the sold-out concert, leaving fans baying for
more, Gwanda Magazine media chronicled the whole event.
The marketing manager, Jack Musindo, said they were turning Phoenix Tshisanyama Garden
into haven of entertainment.
We are trying by all means to pull top-notch artist to quench the once entertainment-starved
town, after staging Lady Du it showed that our town can hold big names, said Musindo.
