Police probe Mahusekwa suspected ritual murder

Harare (New Ziana) -The Zimbabwe Republic Police is investigating a suspected ritual murder in the Mahusekwa area of Chihota, Mashonaland East province which is among three murders that happened around the country this week.

Two other murders that occurred in the same province include the suspected ritual murder of Morgan Tsoka, whose body was picked up in Mutota village on Tuesday with a gouged right eye while the nose, right ear and mouth were also cut off and missing.

The second case involved Munyaradzi Mubayi (33) of Goromonzi whose badly decomposed body was found near Muchairi River on June 26. The body had blood clots around the mouth and nose.

In a twitter thread, the police appealed to the public for information that might assist them to apprehend the suspects in both murders.

Elsewhere in Cowdray Park in Bulawayo, a vendor, Dumisani Mpala (46), is believed to have been bludgeoned to death on Tuesday by two unknown men who had accused him of overcharging his wares.

The suspects attacked him with a hammer and a stick.
