Three Rhinos players in Zim Afro T10 draft.

KWEKWE –Provincial cricket side Rhinos have three players among the 80 players set to take part in
the inaugural Zim Cyber City Zim Afro T10 set for July 20 – 29.
The selection process which is on-going, has 80 players from around the world auctioned to play in
the top class cricket league games.
On Sunday, Zim Cyber City Zim Afro T10selectors were at Kwekwe Sports Club to pick young players
between 18 and 25 years for their teams. Selectors comprised team owners, coaches and
management. They selected players from Rhinos franchise which covers Midlands and Mashonaland
West provinces. Eighty players from across the two provinces attended and nine players made it
through to the next phase of the draft in Harare.
Rhinos are known breeders of top notch cricketers in the country and have three players set to rub
shoulders with the world's best. The three players who made the draft are Ryan Burl, Brandon
Mavuta and Tashinga Musekiwa.
Rhinos General Manager Admire Marodza was elated with the drafting of their players to play in the
Zim Cyber City Zim Afro T10.
"We have three guys, so far who have made it into T10 teams, they have been selected by three
different teams.
"The T10 championship is actually good for us especially if we have our players picked to play for
these teams. T10 cricket is the next big thing in the game. It is exciting as well because it's just an
hour's game.
“For us, it is a privilege to have our own players taking part in such leagues. It is a huge achievement
for the players and the clubs. We are looking forward to games like these in cricket," said Marodza.
