    Cricket squad for T20I series named

    Harare,  (New Ziana) – Sikandar Raza will lead a 15-man squad that will represent the country in the upcoming T20 international triangular series in Pakistan,

    Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) has announced. Also featuring Sri Lanka, the series will kick off on 17 November and is part of the team’s build-up to next year’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

    According to the squad announced by the ZC, the only change from the group that recently faced Afghanistan at home is that of fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani, who has been dropped due to a back injury.Newman Nyamhuri was roped in as Muzarabani’s replacement.

    On 17 November, Zimbabwe will open their campaign against Pakistan in Rawalpindi and two days later, they will face Sri Lanka at the same venue.

    Zimbabwe will then travel to Lahore for their remaining round-robin fixtures – meeting Pakistan again on 23 November and Sri Lanka on 25 November. Four days later, the top two teams on the table will contest the final in Lahore.

    The full squad for the tour is as follows: Sikandar Raza (Captain), Brian Bennett, Ryan Burl, Graeme Cremer, Bradley Evans, Clive Madande, Tinotenda Maposa, Wellington Masakadza, Tadiwanashe Marumani, Tony Munyonga, Tashinga Musekiwa, Dion Myers, Richard Ngarava, Newman Nyamhuri, and Brendan Taylor.
