THE country’s leading science and technology university (National University of Science and Technology) has cast its net wider in the enrolment process.

Unlike the previous process, where one would apply online through the university’s website, the institution is visiting districts physically to enrol on the spot.

Prior to this process, one would download the online application form, complete it and then attach all the stipulated documents before admission.

However, Gwanda South legislator Omphile Marupi through his Constituency WhatsApp group is inviting potential undergraduates to visit Gwanda Government complex, where NUST will be conducting the enrolment in person

“NUST-National University of Science and Technology will be at our doorstep in Gwanda Town enrolling students for the 2024 March and September 2024 intakes.

“The venue will be at Government Complex-Ministry of Education Gwanda Town on January 30. 2024.
The recruitment process will start at 08.00 hrs to 17.00hrs,” reads part of the statement.

An application fee of US$20 must be accompanied by copies of ‘A’ Level results slip, ‘O’ Level Certificate, Birth Certificate and an I.D Card.

“We are encouraging even those with ‘A’ Levels and 5 ‘O’ Levels BUT without Maths at ‘O’ Level to come and choose courses that suit their qualifications.

NUST offers diverse programmes, and under the leaving ‘no one’ behind mantra, students with ‘E’s in sciences at ‘A’ Level are all welcome you will be assisted accordingly.”
