MASVINGO political leadership has applauded the appointment of Gutu West
Member of Parliament, John Paradza, as the Deputy Minister for Environment,
    Climate and Wildlife.

Paradza, who is also the Zanu PF Deputy Secretary for Youth Affairs, was appointed
two weeks ago after he had won in the recently held Gutu West constituency by-
    election.

Masvingo Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Ezra Chadzamira,
said the appointment of Paradza, a youth has shown the commitment by President
Emmerson Mnangagwa in working with young people in the transformation of the
    country.

In his welcome remarks at Bikita Minerals last week, Chadzamira praised President
Mnangagwa for continuing to refresh their ruling party by including young executives.

“Your Excellency, through and through, Masvingo is behind you and your
administration. In light of this, I want to congratulate our visionary party Zanu PF and
you Your Excellency, Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa for the party victory in Gutu West
by-election. We as Masvingo Province, express our gratitude to the party leadership
who supported our provincial mobilisation,” he said.

“Masvingo is once again humbled by the swearing in of Cde Paradza as a Deputy
Minister of Environment, Climate and Wildlife. The appointment of Cde Paradza such
a young and vibrant and enthusiastic youth has shown your commitment to inclusive
participation of young blood in key selection of socio-economic transformation.”
Chadzamira said the opening of the US$300 million Bikita Minerals plants and the
swearing in of Paradza are an inspiration to the people of Masvingo to whole
    heartedly serve the nation.

Paradza joins seven other ministers and deputy ministers from Masvingo Province
that were sworn in to serve under the Second Republic.

Chadzamira said under the Second Republic, the province has witnessed over 500
    projects being completed.

“We have witnessed unmatched development under your leadership. To this end,
our province has been transformed through the completion of 537 projects, while
more than 100 other projects are still ongoing.”
