Harare (New Ziana)- The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) on Wednesday announced an upward adjustment in fuel prices, both in local currency and US dollars, while maintaining the petrol blending ratio at E20.

The latest upward price adjustment comes following a series of reductions effected in the last few weeks.

In a statement, ZERA pegged the new price for diesel in local currency at ZW$1084.08 per litre, up from ZW$1057.55, while that of petrol rose to ZW$971.21 from ZW$951.85.

In US dollars, the price of diesel went up from $1.69 to $1.73, while that of petrol is now pegged at $1.55 from $1.52.

“Operators may sell the petroleum products below the prescribed prices depending on their trading advantages and should display prices in a prominent place as provided by the fuel pricing regulations,” ZERA said.
