MURIEL MINE – MURIEL Mine has embraced and committed to conducting a
clean-up campaign every first Friday of each month.
Last months campaign saw all workers from different departments, with the senior
staff participating in trying to bring back sanity to the community.
The 7am siren saw scores of workers across the mining divide in a rush hour,
assembled at the garage for quick briefing before the days business.
After the briefing and disbursement of personal protective equipment, the day kicked
off.
To take the campaign to the next level, the management organised a tractor and a front
loader to cart away the refuse cleaned up.
We must always work hand-in-glove to better our community and clear all
undesignated dumpsites. Charity begins at home,” said the Human Resources Officer,
Nicholas Sigodo.
He thanked the team for the huge turnout and for a job well done.
