CHINHOYI – ENTERTAINMENT music promoters and talent scouts are set to launch a new
riddim titled “Afro Ninjas” this month – their first instrumental this year.
The instrumental was produced by Mike Makuwa, popularly known as Mickela, and the project
attracted more than 20 Zimdance Hall artists riding vocals to it in deferent styles.
In an interview Ninjas Entertainment Director, Takemore “Takie diBigman” Tavengwa,
promised fireworks saying all is now in place and that only mastering was now left.
“As Ninjas Entertainment, we have prepared our first project this 2023 and we are doing our
final touches to make the riddim ready for launch in a few weeks to come this February 2023.
“The project riddim titled Afro Ninjas, which was produce by our five-star producer, Mickela
founder of Fire Temple Records.”
All the videos shoots were by Chidzman, founder of Home-made pictures.
“Afro Ninjas consists of kicks of dancehall in our native style with a touch of an Afro style,
which really brings absolute value to the listeners of a broad spectrum of genres and ages.
“A number of high raking artists took part in the project.
“This project was featured by some high ranked artists of the music industry the likes of
Troyman Firedem, Bongrifire Mwawu, Simplex the Beat Breaker, Shango Vybes, Vvkay, YV,
Montana, Kays, Ras Takue, E man Weredha to mention but a few.
“Other pieces will be released as surprises but what we have so far is a dynamite in a small
package,” said Tavengwa.
Zimdance Hall music is being produced along the Jamaican music style and producers come up
with an instrumental and singers compose their songs in line with the already produced sound
track.
This type of digital music has made it easy for most artists since it attracts low costs unlike
booking for studio time to do the instrumentals and vocals with a band.
