    Darts Club asks for financial support

    THE Place Darts Club were in a no joking mood as they mercilessly thwarted third
    placed ZETDC Chinhoyi Darts Club by 30 legs to nine as Lucky Matope got his first 180
    of the season, while Precious Mandiyaya and Cecil Phiri added to their existing tally of
    180s, further increasing the team's overall 180 tally.
    Enoch Losani became the man of the game as he went on to win his six legs and
    sealing by pinning a 118 checkout, going first on treble 20, single 18 and double 20 as
    his opponent was on double 12 waiting to pounce, but didn't get the opportunity to do
    so.
    This win further sealed their bid for the ultimate challengers to the top position which is
    currently being held by TelOne Chinhoyi Darts Club, who also had a fruitful weekend
    when they visited Aryshire Mine Darts Club at Chambadzi, where they defeated the
    home team 24 – 15, with Collen Mukucha collecting all his six legs, while Norman
    Mudimu pinned his first 180 of the season.
    The result saw TelOne Chinhoyi Darts Club remaining on top of the log, with a ten out of
    ten unbeaten run. They have 30 points and 284 leg aggregate and five 180s tally, while
    The Place Darts Club remain in second place with an unbeaten run of nine games and
    a game in hand. The Place Darts Club led on the 180s tally, now on fourteen.
    Delta Chinhoyi Darts Club visited Kariba, where they defeated ZPC Kariba Darts Club
    23 – 16 on their turf. They are now on third position with same number of games played
    with ZETDC Chinhoyi Darts. They have however, 169 legs aggregate.
    Meanwhile, ZPC Kariba increased their 180 tally when Leonard Mhoshiwa hit his first of
    the season. They remain on tenth position with only one win from the six games they
    have played so far.
    Nog Inn were edged by Super Bulls Darts Club in a close contest 20 – 19. Mtongozi of
    Supper Bulls pinned a 125 checkout, a highest checkout of the week, while Shephard
    Chiroza managed to pin his third 180 of the season.
    Currently, the players are preparing for the national Heroes Tournament to be held in
    Bulawayo from August 11 to 15, 2023, where other provincial teams will participate.
    The Mashonaland West Darts executive is asking for financial support from everyone
    Interested in supporting the Darts team.
