    Dinyero lands FC Wangu Mazodze job

    FORMER Dynamos Coach, Masimba Dinyero, has joined the technical team of
    Masvingo’s leading team, FC Wangu Mazodze.
    The Zhalala Zhululu team, as they are affectionately known, are working towards
    promotion into the Premier Soccer League and the arrival of Dinyero is expected to
    help achieve that dream.
    Sukuoluhle Ndlovu, Wangu Mazodze FC spokesperson, confirmed the move on their
    Facebook page.
    "On behalf of Zhalala Zhululu, we welcome Masimba Dinyero on becoming part of
    the brand as he joins our Technical team.
    “Dinyero joins the club as part of the FC Wangu Mazodze Technical team.
    “We hope to work together with the best ideas and technical to make sure FC
    Wangu Mazodze's vision becomes a reality,” reads part of the post.
    Meanwhile, Gertrude Mazodze, the vice-president of the team said the addition of
    Dinyero to the technical team will not affect the current standing of the other
    technical members.
    "It is pleasure to announce that we have added Mr Masimba Dinyero to the technical
    team.
    “All other members of the technical team remain in position.
    “Mr George Magariro remains Technical Manager, Mr Passmore Mupinganjira
    remains assistant Technical Manager and Mr Forward Pfumojena remains
    Goalkeeper Coach," she said.
    Dinyero was once a soccer player from 1981 to 2008 under various clubs that
    comprise Whiteman's Mambas, Dynamos, Sporting Lions and Blackpool.
    He also played in the1998 Africa Club Champions final.
    He then become a coach in 2001 and started as a player-coach at Mambas and rose
    through the ranks to be head coach and coached more than 10 teams, including
    some of the top teams.
    Dinyero coached Dynamos FC from 2011 to 2012, Harare City FC in 2014, and
    Green Fuel FC in 2019, to mention a few.
    Dinyero won 13 awards during his career. These include COSA Trophy U-20 in
    Ethiopia in 1986, among soccer stars of the year in 1994, Silver in Champions
    League 1998, and Independence Trophy with FC Platinum in 2012, among others.

    During his coaching career, Dinyero saved Harare City from relegation and guided it
    into the finals of the Chibuku Super Cup.
