CHINHOYI – THE 50-year-old Bwanado Bwanali, who was on the run after butchering
his wife last week, was arrested on Tuesday.

Bwanali was arrested at his farm house at plot number 10 Musengi in Chinhoyi, after
police raided the farm during the night.

Police confirmed the arrest saying Bwanali is expected to appear in court as soon as
    the investigations are complete.

“Reference is made to our post on X platform on 08/11/23 in which police were
appealing for information leading to the arrest of Bwanali Bwanado (50) for the callous
killing of his wife, Chioneso Ephraim (41). On 15/11/23 the suspect was arrested at plot
10 Musengi Farm, Chinhoyi after a raid by detectives.”

Bwanali had fatally stabbed his wife, Chioneso Ephraim, with a knife at house number
290 Gadzema Chinhoyi, after finding her in a compromising position with her alleged
boyfriend in their matrimonial bed during the night. The discovery did not go down well
with him and so chose to kill her.

After committing the crime, Bwanali fled towards Karoi and was feared to have crossed
the border into Zambia. Instead, he was apprehended at the farm which indicates that
he had not run away, but was circulating around Chinhoyi.
