THE Meteorological Services Department of Zimbabwe (MSD) has advised of a prolonged dry spell forecast for at least two weeks.

It said rains will decrease from Friday January 19, until February 2.

However, the extreme northern parts of the country, including Mashonaland Central will be spared from this spell, the department said.

The agency said sunny weather will start from January 21.

For farmers, the MSD advises farming activities which do not require rainfall, such as application of pesticides and fertilisers.
