Daughters of Virtue (DOV) from Wednesday November 26 to Saturday 29 2025 will be hosting a Thanks giving camp running under the theme WHERE ARE THE OTHER NINE.
In a statement, DOV said the camp which is one of the most important events on its calander is all about congregates thanking God for breakthroughs and miracles in their lives experienced during the course of the year. We do thank you God for what people would term mishaps for thanksgiving is not only for positives but for negatives too.
1Thessalonians 5:18 states, “give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus”.
“Why THANKSGIVING when most camps are for asking God for breakthroughs, miracles etc. If we go to God with requests, does it not follow that we go to Him with thanks giving for what He has done during the course of the year. Just being alive is a cause enough to thank God , having a roof over our heads is another cause to thank Hon to mention but a few,”said DOV.
DOV said the event has been set at the end of November every year and chronicled its historical foundations.
“This camp has become an annual event on Daughters of Virtue calendar and always lies at the end of November.
Daughters of Virtue leadership borrowed the concept from Hebron Art of Prayer (Hebron), a church founded by Prophetess Memory Matimbire together with her husband Pastor Fred Matimbire. Daughters of Virtue adopted that same concept which the ministry felt was noble.”
At this year’s camp prayer commanders and speakers will be
Pastors Blessed Marara, Abel Kasekete, Growrose Jemwa, Mercy Nepure, Shepherd Matimbire to mention a few.”
DOV gave a highlight on the main topics to be discussed on the event.
“Some of the topics and sessions among others will be :-
▪️Prayer
▪️Faith
▪️Breaking altars and deliverance
▪️The power of the blood of Jesus
▪️Thanksgiving
A lot of time will be given for personal reflection and individual prayer time, the thrust being and solidifying DOV mantra – RAISING AN ALTAR OF PRAYER IN EVERY INDIVIDUAL.”
DOV said they were expecting a lot of testimonials during this year’s event.
“Previous THANKSGIVING CAMPS have witnessed a lot of testimonies from attendees and this year’s one will not be different as we anticipate God’s grace and Him meeting each attendee at their point of need.”
