Daughters of Virtue Thanksgiving camp started with a bang on Wednesday night with more than 800 congregates thronging Garden of Eden prayer braving the chilly evening with noticeable spiritually hungry hearts in anticipation of a great banquet with the Lord.

The wait was not in vain. Daughters of Virtue choir did justice in ushering the congregates into powerful praise and worship session which left some rolling on the floor as the Holy Spirit ministered to individuals.

Prophetess Memory Matimbire opened the camp with a powerful chronicle of how the annual THANKSGIVING camp was birthed and also touched on importance of fasting.

In her sermon, Prophetess Matimbire highlighted the importance of fasting which she said is only possible through the grace of God.

“The bible said he fasted for 40 days and 40 nights. If you read further it says anozonzea nzara, 40 days dzadarika. We want to raise our hands and we want to declare the grace of God…the spirit of God to enable us..everything that we do for God is not by might nor power but it is by the spirit of the Lord.
So we want the spirit of God to strengthen us.
We did not come here to fast because of our experiences but we are to fast because of His grace,” she said.

The camp continues until Saturday morning and the menu is exciting with different speakers lined up to dish out God’s message(s) to the congregated.

The crowd is expected to swell even more today and tomorrow.
