POPULAR Zimdancehall musician Killer-T has publicly apologised to Ambassador Kwame Tapiwa Muzawazi, the Muzawazi family and Zimbabweans after admitting to sending threatening, insulting and disrespectful voice notes on WhatsApp.

Killer-T, born Kelvin Kusikwenyu, said he was heavily intoxicated when he recorded the messages and took full responsibility for his actions.

He also pledged to quit alcohol and said he intended to use the experience to raise awareness about the dangers of alcohol and substance abuse.

The musician further indicated that he would plead guilty when he appears in court.

“I am very sorry. Please forgive me,” he said.

Killer-T was arrested on Monday following the circulation of a viral WhatsApp audio recording in which he allegedly threatened to kill another person.
