At least 12 people died in Beatrice, 55km along the Masvingo highway this afternoon after a haulage truck and a kombi carrying church goers collided this afternoon.
According to witnesses, the truck tried to avoid a small car that had cut infront of it, swerved into the opposite late and hit a kombi which was heading towards Chivhu. Witnesses counted at least 12 bodies. Seke ambulance attended the scene and ferried the injured to Beatrice hospital.
