    Chief Kavula of Binga dies

    Binga (New Ziana) – Chief Kavula of Binga district has died, officials announced on Monday.

    He was 90.

    Chief Kavula, whose real name was Muleya Nkamu Mukusi, was one of the longest serving traditional leader in Matabeleland North, having assumed the throne in 1984.

    Officials said he died on Sunday, but did not give cause of death.

    Burial arrangements are yet to be announced.
