Chinhoyi(New Ziana) – Chinhoyi University of Technology on Tuesday donated an assortment of groceries and other goods to three charity organisations in Chinhoyi to assist in the upkeep of inmates.

The donation was made to Nazareth Old People’s Home, which has 15 inmates, Chengetanai Old People’s Home with 30 residents, and Good Shepherd Children’s Home sheltering 52 children.

University acting pro-vice chancellor, Fungai Chatiza said money for the groceries was raised at a charity golf tournament held late last year.

She pledged more support for the charity organisations in future.

“It’s our wish that each and every year we bring you these items so that you don’t lack. We hope we will continue doing this each and every year,” she said.

New Ziana
