Harare (New Ziana) – Active Covid-19 cases in Zimbabwe went up to 206 on Saturday after 11 new patients tested positive for the virus, the Ministry of Health and Child Care has said.
The Ministry said of the new cases, 10 were local transmissions while one was a returnee from the DRC.
No deaths had been reported in the last 24 hours.
“No new recoveries reported. National recovery rate stands at 95 percent and active cases go up to 206 today,” the Ministry said.
“As of 17 October 2020, Zimbabwe has now recorded 8 110 cases 7 673 recoveries and 231 deaths.”
