Masvingo (New Ziana) – Seven government workers at the Masvingo provincial offices have tested for Covid 19, the Provincial Covid-19 Taskforce announced on Monday.

Taskforce spokesperson, Rodgers Irimayi said out of a total of 139 workers that were tested for Covid-19 last week from the government offices in the city, Seven had tested positive.

As per health protocols, these would be isolated, and where necessary hospitalised for treatment.

Masvingo recorded two Covid-19 deaths last week, and the province, overall, has 19 other active cases.
