Harare, (New Ziana) -Highlanders Football Club has confirmed that Kindman Ndlovu, who last week handed in his resignation letter, will continue serving as the interim Chief Executive Officer following internal discussions.
Ndlovu, who took over the role in April this year, had stepped down citing a fallout with the club treasurer, Nkani Khoza, who he accused of creating a hostile environment and obstructing club operations.
“Highlanders Football Club wishes to inform its stakeholders that, following successful engagements, the executive member for technical and development, Kindman Ndlovu, will remain the acting CEO until a substantive CEO is been appointed. “
Mr. Ndlovu retracts his resignation letter and apologizes to the executive member for finance, Nkani Khoza, and the club at large for any inconvenience caused by the resignation letter’s unfortunate leak to the public. “The club leadership upholds the spirit of peace, tranquility, and respect for one another and the Highlanders brand.”
