GWERU — Mkoba based Zimdancehall- reggae artist Jah Flint has promised to release the
long-awaited brand new single ahead of the festive season.
The Mkoba 20 born Flint Magonde who rose to fame in the Zimdancehall scene in 2015, said
that his new song will be among the Makwati neDaka riddim which was produced by DJ
Flammes at Smart Music Studios.
In an Interview with The Times Arts and Entertainment the 'Zunza Mazakwatira hit maker,
said fans should expect a hit single track which carries an emotional love message.
I will not mention the name of the song, I just want to keep my fans in suspense, but the
song is centred on love and heartbreak that people experience in relationships and love
affairs.
Jah Flint said he has worked with Harare producers such as Levels and Fantan of Chillspot
Records, Dj Samcris and Dj Cymplex of Cymplex Music having released a lot of hit singles
that saw him steal the limelight.
However, Jah Flint emphasised that he would like to continue working with Midlands
producers as they are the ones who supported him to get the limelight at a very tender age.
He mentioned his mentor and music producer DJ Dexter of Mk 2Nil Studios in Mkoba 20
saying he was the one who discovered his talent and groomed him into becoming a
professional Zimdancehall reggae artist.
Jah Flint has who has also worked with established artists in the Midlands province who
include Legion and Ansa.
He is working towards opening new doors in his musical career.
''I have shared the stage with big artists in Zimbabwe with the likes of Lady Squanda,
Terminator and Jah Prayzah and this has motivated me to work hard in perfecting my
performing skills and also perfecting my lyrics on the songs I compose,” he said.
Jah Flint Magonde encouraged his fans to continue supporting him and expect more songs
from him as he is there to entertain them.
He pledged to assist and uplift upcoming artists from the Midlands province.
