    League inks deal with Pacific

    THE ZIFA Eastern Region Soccer League has this season secured a sponsorship deal with Pacific Cigarette Company Private Limited and will only use branded kits this season.

    In a statement by the Regional Administrator, Fungai Munyoro, the region which sees the participation of teams from the Mashonaland East Province, Masvingo and the Manicaland Province will be rebranding to Pacific Storm Eastern Region Soccer League.

    Munyoro said more details would be availed to the clubs at their Annual General Meeting.

    “We are excited to inform you that we have finalised and signed a sponsorship deal with Pacific Cigarette Company Private Limited. Kindly note that our league will be rebranding to Pacific Storm Eastern Region Soccer League.

    More details concerning the sponsorship deal will be availed to you at the Annual General Meeting, where we have invited the sponsor to share with us.”

    She said for the upcoming season the teams would use branded kits for all their matches.

    “Once again, we are kindly requesting that you submit your kits for branding. Also note that this season we will be using branded kits only for all our matches. Some clubs have already submitted their kits and branding is underway.”
