Love triangle lands aspiring CCC councilor behind bars.

A Citizen Coalition for Change aspiring councillor Adrian Phiri is in police custody after he was
arrested in a bizarre incident that has left Empumalanga residents in shock for assaulting a Hwange
man in a love triangle.
The Hwange man known as Ncube is lucky to be alive after he was rushed to St Patrick’s hospital
where he was transferred to Mpilo Hospital for further management.
According to witnesses Phiri assaulted the man who is popularly known as Ncube with a brick on his
head and then fled together with his girlfriend known as MaNkomo.
“MaNkomo is Ncube’s wife but are on separation. It happened that on the fateful day the three met
and a misunderstanding arose which led to the assault,” said Peter Dube a witness
According to witnesses, Ncube sustained severe injuries. The police have since arrested the aspiring
CCC councillor who is yet to appear in court at the time of writing.
