Lupane man found dead near a school.

Police in Lupane are investigating the death of Josiah Moyo (51) of Malumba village, Chief
Mabhikwa in Lupane who was found dead near Malumba Primary School.
According to Matebeleland North Province Acting Police Spokesperson, Ass Inspector
Christopher Mahohoma the body of the deceased was found by his wife who was searching for
him after he had failed to return home the previous night.
“On November 10, Moyo went for a beer drink at Malumba Business Centre. He was last seen
leaving Malumba business centre in the company of Michael Donga (28) who was dragging him
by the hand.”
He never reached home and after a follow up by the wife Louise Moyo (48), she found his body
about 20 meters from Malumba Primary School fence with blood coming out from both the
mouth and nose.
Police observed some struggle marks at the scene and that the body was with scratch marks and
ferried it to St Luke’s Hospital mortuary and waiting for post mortem.
Meanwhile the suspect Michael Donga’s whereabouts are not known.
‘We appeal to members of the public for information which can lead to the arrest of Donga.
Members of the public are also urged to value the sanctity human life and those who chose
violence are surely going to face the full wrath of the law,” he said.
