MASVINGO — President Emmerson Mnangagwa is scheduled to officially open the 19th edition of the Sanganai/Hlanganani World Tourism Expo today in Masvingo.
The Expo, which runs until Saturday, is taking place at the Gymkhana Conference Centre in Masvingo. This location aligns with the Second Republic’s devolution agenda, ensuring that development initiatives benefit local communities, embodying the mantra of ‘leaving no one and no place behind.’
As part of this programme, Masvingo has witnessed the refurbishment of Masvingo Airport, the construction of a restaurant, offices, and ablution facilities, the development of sports fields, and significant improvements to the local road network, including a new 1.4-kilometre stretch leading to the venue. This also includes upgrades to the airport access road.
