A security guard from Hwange was recently arrested by the police for sodomising his young workmates after offering them accommodation at his house.
Windas Mudenda of Madabamisa village was not asked to plead by Hwange Provincial Magistrate Fungai Dzimiri for four counts of aggravated indecent assault.
The accused man is due trial on October 25 for sexually assaulting four male colleagues on separate dates in August including a 17-year-old boy.
According to the prosecution on August 10 one of the complainants who had secured a job was offered accommodation by Mudenda at his home and on that particular night the accused made a move by forcing himself on the young boy without his consent.
The complainant quickly confided with a workmate and was advised to wear tight fitting clothes to deter the sex mad Mudenda. Unfortunately this did not work as the accused sodomised the complainant.
Mudenda proceeded to offer accommodation to another 18-year-old who had also secured a job at his work place and around midnight he forced himself on the complainant.
The security guard was targeting desperate young boys who would have secured a job at his work by offering them accommodation and then molesting them.
On August 25, Mudenda employed the same tactic on another recruit by offering him free accommodation at his house and then sharing the same bed with the complainant.
The matter was then reported to the police leading to his arrest.
