KWEKWE – Six people died on the spot in a road accident at the 223km peg along the Harare-Bulawayo Road near Redcliff turn-off on Africa Day.
Police confirmed the accident in a statement.
The police said the accident occurred at around 545pm.
“Six people died when a Honda Fit and a Haulage truck collided,” police said in a statement.
They said more information will be released in due course.
