Harare, ( New Ziana) – Steward Bank has officially begun its rebranding exercise to become TN CyberTech Bank Limited, marking a major transformation aimed at embracing digital innovation and modern banking solutions.
In a statement to customers, acting Chief Executive Officer Cleopas Kadzimu said the rebrand reflects the bank’s commitment to technology driven services and a forward thinking approach.
“This rebranding demonstrates our dedication to innovation and technological progress, positioning us to better serve our customers and stakeholders with advanced banking solutions,” he said.
The development comes after the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) approved the name change on 31 May 2025, paving the way for the full transition to TN CyberTech brand, which is expected to be completed by 30 July this year, with updates to the bank’s name, logo, signage, website, social media platforms, and other customer touchpoints.
“We are not just adopting tech tools but embedding technology into the very core of our business model,” he said.
“Our goal is to deliver smarter, faster, and more intuitive banking experiences to our customers, wherever they are,” said Kadzimu.
Before it was branded as Steward Bank, the institution was originally known as TN Bank. Econet Wireless Zimbabwe acquired TN Bank, then a subsidiary of TN Holdings Limited, in July 2013, after which the bank was rebranded to Steward Bank as part of its broader strategy to enter the financial services space.
The latest change marks a return to the TN identity, but with a bold cyber and technology focused direction and customers have been assured that during the rebranding process, all existing services will continue without interruption.
