CHEGUTU – THREE thieves will rue the day they started an enterprise in stealing.
This was after they attempted to sell their loot to the owner of the car they had
    broken into last Friday.
The three broke the window of a sedan vehicle and stole a speaker, sets of seat
covers and a blanket. The trio then proceeded to hawk the stolen items. That was
until they unknowingly approached the owner of the car they had broken into and
    stolen.
The owner, so far identified only as Baba Benny was able to identify two of his stolen
items and promptly and made a report to the police prompting the three to be arrest
of the three, there and then.
"Handina kunge ndaziva kuti mota yangu yapwanywa hwindo ndokubiwa zvaive
mukati. Zvino mbavha dzacho dzakatouya zvadzo kuzozvipereka dzega ndokubva
ndafonera, mapurisa vachibva vauya ipapo ipapo, vanhu ndokusungwa," said Baba
    Benny.
After interrogations by the police, the three revealed that they had stolen from
different people and some items were recovered. Police recovered a saw chain and
other small items from the gang.
Cases of theft from cars are usually rife when there are musical bands performing
    and even night church services.
The law enforcement agents always warn motorists to park their vehicles where they
are not prone to thieves and make sure their assets are safe.
The trio is expected to appear in court as soon as investigations are complete.
