Transformers Gospel Singers launch third album

SHURUGWI — Transformers Gospel Singers launched their third album before a sell-out crowd in Shurugwi last month.

The album is titled Tiriparwendo has six tracks.

Ndiye Mwari wakanaka the track gives assurance regardless of all the obstacles that people may face in their life, God will always be there for them.

The song Izwi rako Tenzi narrates the strength, light, protection, and everything that people might enjoy during their lives comes from the God through the word. Humambo preaches to people that they are on this journey to work for the crown. Mwari muri zuva redu emphasises that in life people need the presence of God. VaTsvene Mumoyo tells people that after the journey of life only the pure in heart shall meet God. The title track Tirimo munzira tells people that life is a journey to heaven.

Petros Gavai, who is the patron of the group said he was happy with the turn-out of music lovers at the launch of the album.

The launch was a success with an estimated audience of around 200 including those who were following the proceedings online and they responded beyond our expectation as evidenced by the number of flash disks that were sold on the day and even after, said Gavai.

Rassel Zimuto, a youthful fan who attended the launch, thanked the group for releasing an album with joyous and spiritually connected messages that sound more than a therapy to the tormented souls.

The launch was very joyous and l thank the group for releasing such a soul healing album that speaks mostly to the spiritual part of a human being and sends a reminder of the presence of the Holy spirit and the Almighty God before, during and after our lives. The songs are anointed, Zimuto said.

Tom Joshua, hailed the Transformers Gospel Singers for their mature songs that encourage praising the Lord every time.

The album blessed our weekend, l cannot deny the fact that the group is a God-sent. Their songs show great maturity and encourage us to always praise God. Midlands has been blessed by having such mature gospel group," said Joshua.
