GWERU – A teacher at Poshayi Primary School in Shurugwi District has urged people to use natural
    herbs to eliminate cancer.
Percy Mapudzi who was part of exhibitors at the National Annual Science, Sport and Arts Festival in
Gweru recently emphasised the use of natural herbs as a solution to curb cancer across the world.
“Natural medication, tinctures, and ointments from natural herbs and full forest products are the
best way to the total elimination of cancer that is keeping the whole world on its toes,” said
    Mapudzi.
Discussions on prostate cancer drew a lot of interest from the public eager to know whether it can
    be cured.
“Most men if not all experience some prostate disorder whereby a prostate gland may be infected,
enlarged and affected by cancerous cells resulting in a burning sensation and feeling as if the bladder
does not empty completely,” he said.
Mapudzi urged the public to call to seek help once they encounter such symptoms.
Mapudzi said Poshayi Primary School managed to spread awareness on cancer around their
community in a bid to clamp down on prostate cancer and other diseases through its School
    Development Committee.
“Our school through the SDC has managed to undertake community outreach programmes aimed at
spreading awareness on prostate cancer and other diseases so as to keep the community healthy,”
Mapudzi said who also teaches on herbal medicines in the community during his spare time.
A woman who requested anonymity said Mapudzi’s teachings would go a long way in solving
marriage problems that have led to divorces.
“Prostate cancer has resulted in many married people cheating as they will not be satisfied by their
partners who might not be aware that they have been affected by prostate cancer,” said the lady.
