GWANDA – Vice President Colonel (Retired) Kembo Mohadi has arrived in Gwanda to officiate at the Matabeleland South Zanu PF fundraising luncheon, where he will deliver the keynote address.
The fundraising event has brought together party leaders, government officials, businesspeople and supporters as the province mobilises resources towards the Zanu PF National People’s Conference scheduled for October in Chinhoyi, Mashonaland West Province.
Upon his arrival, Vice President Mohadi was received by the Minister of State for Matabeleland South Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Albert Nguluvhe; the Minister of Industry and Commerce and Zanu PF Matabeleland South Provincial Chairperson, Mangaliso Ndlovu; the Minister of Environment, Climate and Wildlife, Dr Evelyn Ndlovu; the Deputy Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Dr Omphile Marupi; the Deputy Minister of Information Communication Technology, Postal and Courier Services, Dingumuzi Phuthi, as well as senior government officials.
Business leaders and Zanu PF officials from across the province converged at Situadze Hall in Gwanda for the luncheon, which forms part of the province’s preparations for the party’s annual National People’s Conference.
Vice President Mohadi is expected to outline the significance of the conference and urge stakeholders to support the party’s fundraising efforts ahead of the October gathering
The National People’s Conference will be held under the theme: “From resolutions to results: Consolidating economic development and deepening economic empowerment towards Vision 2030.”
