HARARE – The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has announced new petroleum prices for diesel and blended petrol (E20), effective July 8, 2026, with the prices set to remain in force for the next two weeks.
According to a statement issued by ZERA, diesel will retail at a maximum price of ZWG50.37 per litre or US$1.87 per litre, while blended petrol (E20) will cost ZWG51.83 per litre or US$1.93 per litre.
In the statement, ZERA said government measures continue to shield consumers from volatility in the global fuel market.
“The petroleum prices are effective from 08 July 2026 for a period of two weeks. Government interventions continue to cushion consumers from the impact of global geopolitical developments,” the authority said.
ZERA advised that the prescribed blending ratio remains E20, urging fuel operators to comply with fuel pricing regulations and display pump prices prominently at service stations.
The authority also noted that operators may sell petroleum products below the prescribed maximum prices depending on their trading advantages.
“Operators may sell the petroleum products below the prescribed prices depending on their trading advantages and should display prices in a prominent place as provided for by the fuel pricing regulations,” ZERA said.
The regulator encouraged members of the public and stakeholders to verify all official fuel price announcements through its official website and social media platforms.
