    Zimbabwe Cricket Set for Thrilling Domestic T20 Tournament

    Harare, (New Ziana) – Zimbabwe’s top provincial cricket teams are gearing up for a thrilling Domestic T20 tournament, which kicked off on Monday, at two venues in Harare.

    The six-team competition promises a week of exhilarating cricket, culminating in the grand finale on Sunday, March 30.

    The tournament features six teams which include Eagles, Mountaineers, Rhinos, Rocks, Takashinga, and Tuskers. Matches will be played at Harare Sports Club, with the first match scheduled for Monday afternoon.

    According to Zimbabwe Cricket, the tournament is expected to showcase the country’s top cricketing talent. “The Domestic T20 Competition is a premier event on our domestic calendar, and we’re excited to see our top teams battle it out for the title.”

    The Domestic T20 Competition is an annual event that brings together Zimbabwe’s top provincial teams. The tournament is designed to promote domestic cricket and provide a platform for local players to showcase their skills. Last year’s edition was won by the Mountaineers, who defeated the Rhinos in the final.

    The Domestic T20 tournament schedule highlights include exciting match-ups, with Eagles facing off against the Tuskers and the

    Mountaineers battling the Rhinos on March 24. On Tuesday, the Tuskers take on the Eagles again, while the Mountaineers clash with the Rocks.

    The tournament will culminate in the final on March 30, where the top two teams will compete for the championship title.
