Chisumbanje,-Police in Chisumbanje have said they were investigating a case in which the body of a 12-month-old baby has gone missing from a grave in which it was buried lat the weekend.
In a tweet, police said the incident occurred at Musaonyerwa village. The grave was dug up, and the baby’s body taken.
Police appealed for information on the whereabouts of the corpse, and the people who desecrated the grave.
Meanwhile, police in Marondera said a farm in the area lost 36 bales of tobacco, a welding machine and a grinder worth about US$20 000 to six unknown suspects that raided the property at the weekend.
The assailants attacked four security guards before getting away with the loot.
In another robbery incident in Borrowdale in Harare, three unknown suspects attacked a 90-year-old man at Dandaro Village, and robbed him of US$19 000.
