Bulawayo, (New Ziana) – President Emmerson Mnangagwa was on Thursday expected to cap over 2 500 graduates at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), officials said.
The graduating class comprises 1 362 men and 1 208 women, including 293 graduands who attained distinctions or first-class degrees.
Five doctoral candidates are among the graduates, while 65 students were due to receive awards.
Sadly, three students are graduating posthumously.
The class includes 19 international graduands from Botswana, Eswatini, Mauritius and Zambia, as well as three graduands living with disabilities.
A further 212 graduands are from NUST-affiliated institutions.
