THE scramble for the sole premiership ticket has reached boiling point as the action-
packed marathon enters the decisive phase where true title contenders will separate
    themselves from pretenders.
At this crucial stage serious title aspirants will be gunning for maximum points at
home and away, obviously looking for wider victory margins.
Going into the last six weeks of action, Wi-Fi Boys TelOne FC are still in control with
a four-point lead ahead of closest pursuers Tongogara.
They snatched an important 1-0 away victory at Kwekwe United after a bruising
fixture at Ziscosteel Sports Club in Redcliff last weekend.
Despite leading the race, the WiFi Boys need to guard against complacency if they
still harbour aspirations to be crowned Ruvimbo Funeral Central Region Soccer
League Champions and earn the coveted premiership ticket.
TelOne hosts Bishopstone at home in a tricky tie at Ascot Stadium.
Bishopstone have not been playing well and will travel to the Midlands capital with
    the underdog tag.
The Beitbridge side were held to a costly 2-2 draw by visiting FC Platinum Under-19
at Muchato Stadium in their last fixture.
The result left them lying ninth on the log table. Their trip to Gweru gives them a
    grand platform to make amends.
TelOne will travel to play CM Academy away in Beitbridge. The fixture is unlikely to
be played unless CM Academy settles outstanding issues with ZIFA.
TelOne returns to Ascot in Week 23 to host Shabanie Mine before traveling to Loss
    Control in Week 24.
They will lock horns with an unpredictable MSU in a city derby at Ascot Stadium
before rounding off the programme away to bitter arch rivals Tongogara.
The scenario will be more intriguing if the Wi-Fi Boys travel to Tongogara with the
title race yet to be decided.
Tongogara are just four points behind the log leaders and are still fancying their
    chances to be crowned champions.
The army side will be traveling to ZPC Munyati for a showdown that may shatter their
dreams or help them maintain pressure on the log leaders.
Their next opponents are fellow ZDF side Chapungu, who will be visiting them.
Chapungu have been flying high since Tawanda Marimo took over the reigns.
Tongogara will travel to giant killers Dulibadzimu United in Week 23 before coming
back home to host Amazon at home.

They will have an uphill task when they travel to FC Platinum Under-19 in Week 25
before coming back to square up against TelOne FC at home.
After clinching lucrative sponsorship and partnership deals, the Ruvimbo Funeral
Central Region Soccer League has evidently reciprocated with mouth-watering
clashes and action packed drama so far this season.
Mathematically, other teams that include ZPC Munyati and Chapungu also have a
chance to grace the champions’ podium when the curtain finally comes down in the
    next six weeks.
Apart from Ruvimbo Funeral, Shurugwi-based Nichrut Lodge have also chipped in
with arrangements to reward monthly top performers across the region.
