A huge turnout is expected as the Daughters of Virtue (DOV) hosts its annual Crossover Night Prayer event on 31 December at Hebron Bethel Assembly in Glenview, Harare.

The night-long service will focus on prayer, praise and prophetic declarations ushering believers into 2026.

In a statement, DOV leader Prophetess Memory Matimbire said:
“At the CrossOver we will be praying and praising God as we enter into the new year, making declarations prophetically. We will also be thanking God for keeping us well in 2025… appreciating His Grace shown and experienced in this year. We will also declare prophetically for that new year and prophesy into it..we will declare and command the year (2026) to carry favour and be fruitful for us.
We will be releasing the Theme of 2026 on that night. God said to me 2026 will be a year of answered prayers…anything that you shall put prayer on , God will answer. He will also be answering all prayer requests that have gone up from the saints. 2026 is a year manifestion. We will see manifestion of many prayer requests.“

According to research it has become a norm for the majority of churches and ministries across Christian denominations in the world to host these ‘crossover’ prayer nights on the last day of each year in preparation of the coming year.

This has become a rooted tradition in many Christian organizations.
Daughters of Virtue, DOV is an interdenominational prayer group registered with Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe.
