Harare (New Ziana) –The Zimbabwe Republic Police on Tuesday arrested a 36-year-old man from the dormitory town of Epworth, southeast of the capital, for murdering his wife after allegedly accusing her of infidelity.
In a twitter thread, Harare police confirmed the arrest of Paul Mutezo in connection with the murder of Tsitsi Munemo (31) who he allegedly hit with an iron bar on the head at a house in Overspill
Munemo died on admission at Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals.
Meanwhile reports from the courts say socialite Felistas Murata, popularly known as Mai Titi, was on Tuesday convicted of theft of trust property. She was remanded in custody to Wednesday for sentencing.
The case arose from an incident in which Murata surrendered a hired car to a loan shark before retrieving it and handing over an invalid passport as surety.
Magistrate, Munashe Chibanda described her conduct as “a classic case of theft of trust property.”
