THE festive season is upon us again, this is the only time of the year when many can afford
to spend large sums of money on their families and loved ones.
This is that time of the year when families visit resort places across the country.
If you are in Bindura the best place to be at this festive season is Hala Select Hotel,
previously known as Kimberly Reef Hotel.
Situated at the centre of the central business district along Robert Mugabe Street, Hala Select
has 29 rooms that can accommodate around 70 guests at any given time.
Their meals are prepared by some of the best chefs to be ever in the catering industry and cost
as low as US$7 to $15.
They are operating for a good and undisturbed 24hours on a daily basis.
Its three conference rooms can accommodate at least 400 people at any given time.
An executive bar is also under the same roof but if you love public life, Coco Pan bar is there
for you just get to the hotel and you will be shown the direction.
Michael Mafo, the hotel’s general manager, said room rates range from US$30, 00 up to
US$75. 00 and vary from standard to executive class.
“Ours is a low cost hotel which accommodates all people from different parts of the country
with the accommodation fee ranging from USD$30 to USD$75.
We are also in the process of upgrading the same rooms, having worked on fifteen so far,” he
    added.
For weddings, the hotel has a spacious garden that can host a maximum of 200 delegates.
Whilst the municipality is failing to religiously give its clients water, do not worry about
    water issues at Hala Select.
The hotel has its own solar powered borehole that supplies water 24 hours to reservoir tanks.
You cannot afford to miss a bath at a hotel. No!
To curb you from contaminating COVID 19, the hotel religiously observes COVID 19 WHO
    regulations.
According to Marrian Tichareva, the hotel’s marketing manager, they value their customers
    first before anything else.
She said though they were affected by the pandemic during its lockdown induced era, they
lost a lot of business since people were confined indoors, they are recovering now.
She said all meals are on promotion and walk in customers are welcome to place their orders
as they go on with their journeys.
In case one needs to withdraw money, the hotel faces three of the most trusted banks in the
town, ZB, First Capital and CABS.
